Soda Firing!

Explore atmospheric firing in collaboration with Little Clay Bug!

Each ticket includes:

✶ 1 cubic foot of kiln space

✶ 1 bag of clay

We have 18 cubic feet of total firing space available, so spots are limited! If you would like to fire more than one cubic foot of work, you must purchase an additional ticket for each additional cubic foot of space.

You don’t have to be a Scrappie ceramics student to join us. However, prior ceramics experience and knowledge are required to ensure you’re comfortable preparing your work for the firing. Interested in learning more about ceramics at Scrappie? Ask us about our ceramics membership options!

Mandatory Information Meeting on November 6th at 3:00PM

Attendance at the information meeting is mandatory for all participants. We’ll go over the firing process, preparation requirements, and other important details to help everyone prepare for the January firing.

Firing Date: January 9th, 2027

Reserve your spot and get ready to explore the beautiful, unpredictable surfaces that soda firing can create!
